Early Childhood Education Programs:
Kids Can Sign is a series that offers workshops to educators, childcare providers and anyone who wants to learn. It focuses on introducing American Sign Language (ASL) in early childhood education for hearing children. The Kids Can Sign Program teaches American Sign Language vocabulary, phrases and includes information about the benefits of using ASL with hearing children ages 0-5. ASL is learned through commonly used fun and interactive activities. After, attending workshops ranging from introduction to signing to theme based workshops attendees will have a great foundation to begin using American Sign Language with their students or children in their childcare.
Teacher Workshops
If you are a teacher that does not have in-depth experience with American Sign Language but work with deaf children or children with special needs and can benefit from ASL. Sessions can be established to give you a basic knowledge of sign language that can be used to supplement various lessons and various methods of communication. Contact us for detailed information.
Your Way Workshops
We will host our workshops at your location. Worksops are themed "your way" because in addition to our Kids Can Sign series you can design a themed workshop to meet your organizations'educational needs.
Signing in Your Childcare Workshop
This workshop is tailored to meet the needs of children in family childcare where learning is conducted through play. Sign Language lends itself well to being learned through fun activities and daily routines. Children can be relaxed in a home environment while learning a second language.
