Pierre Ian Whitlow Sr. Is the youngest son of Bishop Bernard and Pastor Diane Whitlow. He is a native of Newport News, Va. Where he attended the Newport News public schools and completed at York High School in Yorktown, Va. At the young age of 5, God anointed his hands to play the drums and then at 8 he began playing the piano, following in his sibling's foot steps. It was natural for him, coming from a family where his mother was a National Praise and Worship leader for the NWMA (National Women Ministers Alliance) and his dad, in earlier years, a lead guitar player for the Late Otis Redding and a fill in for Ike and Tina Turner. He also has other siblings that play both drums and piano. Music is truly the Whitlow's gift along with a far more excellent responsibility to come. Pierre has had the privilege of working with and playing for great artist such as the late James Moore, Rance Allen, Twinkie Clark, Valerie Boyd, Marcus Cole, Natalie Wilson, Greg Roberts and Soulful Celebration, Everette Mcbee, Carl Thomas, Donald Lawrence, Trinitee 5:7, Pastor John P. Kee, Monique Walker, Terilyn Ramsey, Men of Standard, Lashuan Pace, Durance Pace, Kim Burrell and so many, many others. In 1999, Pierre heard the voice of God speak to him through scripture, calling him to preach the Life-Saving Word of GOD. In September 2002 he was licensed to preach at Pillars of The Word Ministries under the leadership of his father. Since then God has opened many doors in both, music and preaching. Currently, he is a composer, lead vocal and the Music Director for, Gospel Male-Artist Group, "BIU" (The Brothers In Unity). He is the founder of Legacy Music Group, a local based service for events or facilities that require professional music, instruction or sound system upgrade/installation.
Minister Whitlow preaches a word of truth and experience, never preaching what he's heard, but rather what he knows. He has struggled through several situations, as the devil has tried to take him out but he'll gladly tell you he's STILL STANDING on any given day.
Many young are being inspired by this man of God and many are being healed, set free, delivered and anointed through this man of God. You can hear saying motto's such as, "I never preach to them but instead I preach to us!", "The more you love GOD, the more you'll experience his love for you!" and of course, "Somebody got to go to hell!" No matter where you see him he's always the same.
